Shawnia and I wanted a magical maternity shoot. So we braved the cold, or shall I say FREEZING weather to get these shots. We drove up to the Crest of the Sandia Mountains, not even expecting there to be much snow and to our suprise we arrived at the peak with 32 degree weather, NOT including the wind chill, and tons of snow. We trekked through 3-4 foot snow to get to our spot and our faces were numb. The wind was unbelievably hard to manage. We only stayed at the crest for about 10 minutes. I literally “click, click, clicked” and crossed my fingers we got something we could work with. We hiked down to our car where the wind wasn’t so bad and were able to get a few more “hair controlled” shots. haha
We drove down the mountain and decided to make one more stop for shots before the sun went completely down. Shawnia was such a trooper and blast to hang out with. Cant wait to meet this little blessing she embraces oh so tightly in these photos.
